Artist’s Statement
I have always been interested in the human form. It may be true to say that most people are, perhaps seeking a glimpse of themselves. I have spent some years realistically depicting the human form within strongly meaningful narratives such as statements against war or abuse. This exhibition, however, focuses on the form for its own sake. I have created imaginary contexts which allow me experimentation and self-expression. The series of works is a celebration, full of optimism.
